General Dermatology

We recommend you have your skin reviewed by a professional at least every 12 months.

  • Cryosurgery

Cryosurgery is the treatment of skin lesions by freezing usually with liquid nitrogen. During treatment a smarting sensation is apparent and may continue for 5-45 minutes.

  • Photochemo Surgery

Photochemo surgery (PCS) is a new topical therapy used in the treatment of certain non-melanoma skin cancers and pre-cancerous spots.

  • Laser Surgery

Skin laser surgery is the removal of lesions, including some skin cancers, by a laser light machine. In this practice we use a Carbon Dioxide Ultra Pulse Laser.

  • Dermatologic Surgery

Dermatologic surgery is the excision (surgical removal) and suturing (sewing) to remove a skin lesion or to take a specimen of skin (biopsy). The procedure may take 45-60 minutes, depending on the size of the lesion.
